My dad (whom I call ‘Baba’), arrived in Wellington yesterday to visit me yay! Say hello to Baba…

Happy to have him here over the Christmas & New Year holidays 🙂 He was tired from the flight and transits from Malaysia yesterday, so we only took a short stroll around the city after lunch to look around and check out Boxing Day sales. Had dinner at home, and he’s now hopefully well-rested after a good night’s sleep in a comfy proper bed – mine! I slept in a sleeping bag on the floor of my living room. Haha.

We are now just about to set off on a drive headed north, to visit the Tongariro National Park. We plan on doing the famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing tomorrow provided the weather is good. So here’s hoping for fine weather!
